TIPS FOR WHITENING TEETH AT HOME

  • The whitening gel should be stored in a cool place. Especially in the summer you will need to keep it in the fridge.
  • The amount of whitening gel that needs to be placed in the splint is equal to half a “lens” on each tooth. Placing more material in splints doesn’t speed up the bleaching process. Use the product wisely for as many days as possible.
  • After brushing your teeth, place the material on the inside of the splint on each tooth (and on the surface that will come into contact with the tooth surface). We usually place the material on 6 or 8 anterior teeth.
  • Before placing the splints in the mouth, wipe the outer surface of the teeth with a paper towel. You can remove the extra material from the gums with a cotton swab or your toothbrush. Keep the splints with the material in the mouth for at least 4 hours.
  • Brush your teeth well before and after each application of the whitening gel on your teeth. We recommend the use of bleaching toothpaste to enhance the whitening effect
  • Keep the bleaching steels always clean before and after putting gel, rinsing with water. Be sure to always dry before placing gel
  • Avoid eating or drinking immediately after removing the splint for an hour. Try to minimize the use of cigarette, cigar, red wine, coffee, tea, chamomile, cola, soy sauce, raspberry cherry grape juice, sausage, food with dyes, red meat, chocolate throughout whitening.
